Payment

Do you accept insurance?

While I don’t accept in-network insurance, I’m happy to provide you with monthly superbills, so that you can seek out-of network reimbursements from your insurance provider.

What is the cost for sessions? (Please see sliding scale info below.)

Individual Sessions (45 minutes): $185

Couples Sessions (60 minutes): $245

How can I pay for my sessions?

Clients are required to have a credit card on file; payments can also be made with FSA & debit cards.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I strongly believe in mental healthcare access for all. For those experiencing financial hardship or with economic limitations, I have a limited amount of sliding scale openings—please reach out & we can discuss what’s possible. If I don’t have openings, I’m always happy to try & link you to other affordable mental healthcare options in NYS.

As of January, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost per the No Surprises Act. Under this act, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who aren’t using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for mental health services. All therapy fees are listed above. The amount of sessions depends on a number of variables, including what you would like to address in therapy and how long you plan to participate in therapy, which is different for each individual and can change depending on availability, finances, life events and other factors.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. As a new or existing client, you will receive a copy of your Good Faith Estimate via Ivy, the payment platform that I use.
